Our History:  

People have always loved military jackets, which is why U.S. Wings was born.  U.S. Wings was started by Sgt. David Hack and his wife Lani in 1986.  The couple had dabbled in other marketing ventures previously and decided to get into selling leather jackets and other aviation accessories in order to meet the needs of those in the aviator and airline industries.  They also planned to sell to average people who enjoy military apparel.  

They started from a catalog business and decided to turn their business into a website business in early 1990s when websites were first becoming news.

U.S. Wings is the only official licensee for Flying Tigers-brand apparel and authentic government-issue aviator jackets, military apparel, accessories and items.  Begun as a catalog business in the 1980's and advancing as an early 1990's web-based pioneer, the company and its products are unique, wearable symbols of free-flying American pride. 

A retired U.S. Army man, Sgt. David Hack has partnered with his wife Lani Hack since 1986.  USWings.com is the culmination of Sarge's and Lani's lifelong love, respect, and association with the US Military.  Together, they have grown US Wings into a name that equates with quality and authenticity in leather military jackets and accessories...born from the wild blue yonder itself.
